Lazydays RV and Born Free Motorcoach announce
"Factory Direct Plus" partnership
Seffner, FL (Aug 22, 2012)- Over the last 40 years, Born Free Motorcoach has built one of the most loyal customer bases in the RV industry by building one of the best coaches in America and selling their products directly from their factory in Humboldt, Iowa. After visiting Lazydays RV in Tampa, Florida, Born Free’s founding family knew they had finally met a dealership they felt would treat their customers with the devotion they deserve.
The Factory Direct Plus partnership between Born Free and Lazydays will make Lazydays the only RV dealership in the country from which customers can purchase Born Free products. Born
Free will continue to sell to their customers directly from their factory in Humboldt, Iowa. By allowing Lazydays to sell its products, Born Free provides customers with convenient access to products at Lazydays‘ two dealerships in Tampa, Florida and Tucson, Arizona. Additionally, Born Free customers can enjoy the expert service of Lazydays‘ RVIA and RVDA certified and master certified RV technicians, as well as all the amenities that have made Lazydays one of the most beloved RV destinations in the country.

Dear Born Free Family,
Thank you for all the phone calls and emails welcoming me back – it’s been great catching up with all of you!
Those of you I’ve talked to in the last few weeks know that I’ve been telling everyone who will listen about the changes in our products and company! I can honestly say that in my twenty-three years with Born Free there have never been improvements like these.
In our discussions, John “C.T.” Dodgen has lamented that Born Free’s relationship with our owners is not what it once was – we seem to have drifted apart. One of our main goals is restoring this relationship. We’ve heard this same sentiment from many of you at shows and rallies – reminiscing about the good food, camaraderie, and just plain old fun we all had.
When “C.T.” asked me to help re-ignite the Born Free spirit, he opened a bigger can of worms than he anticipated! I’m already planning rallies, pre-rallies, cookouts, and wine and cheese parties!
I really cannot overstate how excited I and the entire Born Free team are about this new chapter in the Born Free story! We’re rarin’ to tell you all about it and have some fun while we’re at it!
So remember – unless you’re going to about twelve weddings, baptisms, graduations, or family reunions, get in your Born Free and join us for at least one of these rallies!

Dear Born Free Family,
I am excited to announce that I am rejoining the Born Free team!
John "C.T." and Kent, our new President and General Manager respectively, recently called me and asked if I would be willing to visit Humboldt and share some of the insight I’ve gained during my 23 years with Born Free. I was happy to help and flew up from Austin thinking if nothing else, I’d get to visit friends and family on the company’s dime.
After spending three days with John "C.T." and Kent, and seeing their commitment to innovation and quality, I caught the bug! No one imagined that I would rejoin Born Free – least of all me! But I believe whole-heartedly in the direction this new generation of management is leading and it was such a natural fit that when they asked me if it made sense to come back to work I said "heck yes!"
My family and I will be staying in Austin, Texas, but I’ll be traveling all over the country – attending shows and rallys, visiting customers, and even joining in some Leapin’ Lions rallys!
