Dear Mr. Dodgen
I purchased a 26’ Rear Bath wide body Born Free on August 20th of this year, but I started working with your staff much earlier. I talked to Karri George over a year ago. Sometimes she and Ed Newman would have a conference call with me, answering all my questions and concerns. This was even though I was not ready to buy a Born Free as my husband, Loren, and I had an ’04 New Horizon 5th wheel we were happy with. Then, Loren was diagnosed with 4th stage lung cancer in November 2006. He and I started talking about getting a more manageable RV that I could drive and maintain if he wasn’t up to it in the future. Then, in February of this year, Loren succumbed to the lung cancer, and again I talked to Karri and Ed to begin planning to buy a Born Free to continue RV’ing that we enjoyed so much together.
Finally, in May, I drove to your plant, met Karri and began with Ed to begin planning a new Born Free. The greeters, secretaries, Karri and Ed could not have been kinder or more helpful to me in this process, and also to my friends I brought along.
I picked up my new Born Free on August 20th. That day, Kim Olson patiently spent many hours familiarizing me with the systems and processes involved in operating my Born Free – even a driving lesson! Marge Tiedeman kindly helped me thru the “numbers” and payment process.
The team who built my Born Free signed a cabinet door, but you were out of town and didn’t get to. I hope to meet you someday and tell you in person that your staff represents you and your Born Free products very well! My whole experience with your staff was professional, yet sincere and low key. I know that in the future I can call upon them for any assistance I might need while I’m on the road in my Born Free.
